The State Institute of Encyclopaedic Publications has implemented the Right to Information Act 2005. Persons desirous of getting information regarding those documents as permitted under the provisions of this Act should submit a written request to the Assistant Public Information Officer who shall process the request within 15 minutes. The Information sought for shall be provided by the Administrative Officer / Public Information Officer within the stipulated time as per the Act. If the person seeking the Information is not satisfied with the Information provided or if he / she wants further clarification he / she can approach the Director who is the Appelate Authority.
The request should mention his / her name, address, contact telephone number, particulars of the information sought, etc. The requisite fee of Rs. 10 should be paid as demand draft drawn on any of the nationalized banks. The draft should be drawn in favour of the Director, State Institute of Encyclopaedic Publications and it should be payable at Trivandrum.
Copies of documents will be charged as per the rate fixed by the State Information Commission, Kerala.
